Mandee Caldwell is an estate and business planning attorney who also has a strong background in litigation. Mandee practiced law in Newnan, a suburb of Atlanta, for eight years – concentrating on estate planning, probate and estate litigation – before moving to the beach and starting Caldwell | Hitchner. Mandee also works as a litigation consultant providing trial strategy in complex civil litigation as well as research and writing support.

A graduate of the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, Mandee served on the Law Review and was a recipient of the Jesse Mercer Scholarship. Prior to law school, Mandee worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. – first for Senator Paul Coverdell and later Congressman Saxby Chambliss

A strong supporter of the arts, Mandee works with many clients in establishing chartable foundations as a part of their estate plan. While in Newnan, Mandee helped form the 501(c)(3) organization for the Masterworks Chorale as well as serving as the chair of the board for several years. Additionally, she was a member of the Newnan-Coweta Community Foundation. Since moving to Santa Rosa Beach, Mandee volunteers for the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County.  Most recently, Mandee has joined the board of The Foye Belle Foundation, a charitable organization offering comfort to patients undergoing chemo for breast cancer.
